Ha Noi-Japan investment and tourism promotion conference to be held (22:38 14/03/2018)

HNP - The Ha Noi People’s Committee issued Plan No. 56/KH-UBND dated March 9 on organizing a conference on investment and tourism promotion between the capital city and Japan.

The conference will be organized from 9AM to noon on March 23 at Melia Hotel (44b Ly Thuong Kiet street, Hoan Kiem district).


It will focus on introducing investment and tourism cooperation between Ha Noi and Japanese partners, potential and attractive cooperation programs and opportunities in Ha Noi, and calling for investment in the fields of high-tech agriculture (including production, processing and consumption), health (medicine and medicine manufacturing equipment), education (human resource training), environmental treatment (waste and medical waste).


Furthermore, there will be signing ceremonies of memorandum of understandings in the fields of investment, trade and tourism for projects on high-tech agriculture, developing website of safe farm products, cooperation in education and behavioral skills of officers in tourism and trade services, cooperation in the field of tourism, trade between Japanese and VIetnamese enterprises.

The Ha Noi-Japan investment and tourism promotion conference has following objects:
- Introduce investment cooperation and environment in Ha Noi, enhance and attract more foreign investment from Japan in Ha Noi;
- Support businesses in the field of tourism; study and understand Japanese market demand; communicate with partners to expand cooperation in manufacturing and trade;
- Seek for experienced and capable investors for projects in Ha Noi, contribute to completing urban infrastructure and increasing the socio, economic development of capital city;
- Increase diplomatic relations, cooperation and friendship relations between Viet Nam and Japan in accordance with general direction of the Government under Japan - Viet Nam Joint Statement on the Establishment of the Extensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia in March 2014, and Joint Vision Statement on Viet Nam-Japan Relations” in September 2015, and related documents.
