The missions of food safety inspection are responsible for following tasks:
- Checking instruction and implementation of food safety activities in framework of the Action Month for Food Safety in districts, suburban districts and towns;
- Inspecting and checking implementation of regulations on food safety in food production, processing and trade facilities, in particular fresh food and alcohols;
- Handling, or reporting cases of food safety violations;
- Summing up result of the examination, collecting proposals and suggestions, and submitting them to the Department of Health, so that the latter will report to the Municipal People’s Committee and Ministry of Health.
