Accordingly, the Municipal People’s Committee asked departments, sectors, agencies and People’s Committees of districts, towns to drastically carry out directive documents, guidelines and recommendations of the Central, the Ministry of Health and the capital city.
In addition, the Department of Health is responsible for giving guidelines on implementation procedures, mechanisms, policies to district, towns to set up mobile teams for disease prevention in localities to treat the epidemic in the area as soon as possible; cooperating with the Department of Finance to outline mechanisms and policies for civil servants, employees and labors participating in preventing the disease; giving reports to the Municipal People’s Committee.
Besides, the Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Department of Health will direct press agencies, radio and television stations to boost the popularization of disease prevention and control in accordance with recommendations of the Ministry of Health and guidelines of the Department of Health; report to the Municipal People’s Committee.
Similarly, the Department of Education and Training is in charge of asking units and schools to implement preventive measures, such as: killing mosquitoes and larva, maintaining environmental sanitation campaigns every week; check, evaluate and give a report to the Department of Health for its synthesis.
The Department of Construction will continue giving directive documents to investors of construction projects to respond to environmental sanitation; give a report on implementation results to the Department of Construction and People’s Committees of districts, towns, wards, communes so as to jointly check and prevent dengue fever; and then report to the Municipal People’s Committee for its settlement of difficulties and entanglements as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the Department of Finance will coordinate with the Department of Health to arrange enough funds for disease prevention and control in the area; suggest, adjust and supplement preferential policies for civil servants, employees and laborers who take part in preventing the epidemic; give a report to the Municipal People’s Committee for its support.
Chair-People of People’s Committees of districts and towns will be directly responsible for preventing the disease in localities; proactively arranging enough funds, human resources for dengue fever prevention and control; suggesting Party Committees of districts, towns, communes, wards to give resolutions on strengthening prevention and control of dengue fever as well as mobilize sectors, agencies, collectives, social and political organizations, members of Youth Unions in communes, wards to respond to environmental sanitation campaigns; building and signing commitments on preventing the disease with all households, units in the localities; enhancing the popularization to raise the people’s awareness of disease prevention; regularly checking, urging and strictly handling violation cases of disease prevention and control as stipulated by law; evaluating results and giving reports to the Department of Health for its analysis to the Municipal People’s Committee.
