Hanoi Mayor receives outgoing Cambodian Ambassador (14:31 16/08/2019)


HNP - Nguyen Duc Chung, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee on August 14 hosted Cambodian Ambassador to Viet Nam Prak Nguon Hong, who came to bid fare well before ending his tenure.

At the reception, Cambodian Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong expressed his thanks to the Hanoi leaders for helping him in fulfilling his assigned tasks during his three-year tenure.


A wide variety of activities have been co-organized by the Cambodian embassy and Hanoi, contributing to boosting the friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia, he added.


Recognizing and appreciating Hanoi’s achievements, Prak Nguon Hong expected that his successor would continue receiving the city’s support, making great contribution to reinforcing bilateral ties.

For his part, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung congratulated Cambodian Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong on his successful term in Vietnam.


He reminded cultural programs and business exchanges as well as high-level visits between the two sides while wishing the diplomat, in his new position, to serve as a bridge to promote bilateral friendship.


Chung also pledged that the city government would continue giving assistance to the next ambassador, and boosting stronger cooperation in various fields.
