Ha Noi’s leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh (22:19 04/02/2019)


HNP – On the occasion of the 89th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3rd, 1930-2019), and upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019, on February 1st, a delegation of the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Chapter of Ha Noi paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh, heroes and martyrs.

The delegation included Politburo member, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai; member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang; member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung; Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, among others. 
 
The delegates expressed their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the founder and leader of the Communist Party of Viet Nam , and honoured his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation.
 
They vowed to join hands to build a modern and civilized capital city. 
 
The delegation then laid a wreath at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs at Bac Son Street, where they recalled martyrs’ sacrifices for national independence and reunification.
 
The delegation offers incense at Mai Dich Cemetery.
 
The same day, the delegation laid a floral wreath and offered incense to commemorate fallen soldiers at Mai Dich Cemetery. 
 
They expressed their deep gratitude to the fallen soldiers and heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.
