The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Justice Dang Hoang Oanh, and Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Le Hong Son.
Over the past five years, in response to the Law Day, Ha Noi has organized a total of 40,771 law dissemination sessions with about 6.7 million participants; released nearly 33 million law documents.
Furthermore, departments, sectors, agencies, and units have focused on popularizing laws and launched many specific activities for law dissemination in response to the Viet Nam Law Day.
According to Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Justice Ho Xuan Huong, the city has paid special attention to making and completing policies and laws; enhancing inspection of key areas; tightening the discipline and administrative discipline in agencies, units and strictly handling violation cases; strengthening administrative reform towards a modern, professional, and effective administration.

Besides, the city has given information of investigation, prosecution, adjudication, and enforcement; strictly handled many defendants in complicated cases, contributing to improving people’s enforcement of law; and provided enough legal services to support organizations, individuals in protecting their legitimate rights and interests.
Regarding the contest on Penal Code 2015, the Organizing Board received a total of 924,783 entries and gave give a special award to Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh from the Ha Noi Department of Police.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Le Hong Son asked departments, sectors, districts, towns to continue popularizing Constitution, new Laws and legal documents under diversified forms while focusing on improving the quality of law making.
