The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, and Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Doan Toan.
The Ha Noi Gift Show 2018 will last until October 20th.
Major activities include an exhibition to introduce handicraft products by artisans of Ha Noi and provinces, cities and an international workshop on craft villages and fine art products.
With more than 650 stalls from 250 enterprises and handicraft production facilities, the show attracts the participation of many foreign firms from Japan, South Korea, China, India, and Peru.
Additionally, the event features more than 100 new products by domestic and foreign designers, including winners of the Ha Noi handicraft design contest this year.

Especially, in the framework of this year’s show, the Organizing Board will launch a business connectivity program between domestic firms and foreign importers seeking cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese businesses.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Doan Toan expressed his belief that the Ha Noi Gift Show 2018 will be a chance for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their outstanding handicraft products to foreign importers, expand the market.
Besides, the event is an opportunity for artisans in Ha Noi and other cities and provinces to share their stories and provide consultancy in product design, he stressed.
The Ha Noi Gift Show is an annual event held in October in the capital city. It aims to create a bridge for enterprises, handicraft production facilities, and craft villages to exchange and seek ways to make relationships with potential national and international buyers in an effort to promote consumption and export of handicraft products.
