In attendance were Nguyen Duc Chung, member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Council; Bui Huyen Mai, Deputy Head of the Municipal NA deputy delegation.
At the meeting, more than 10 voters voiced their concerns over pressing issues, such as education reform, food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and control, especially prevention and fight against corruption and the cadre work.

On behalf of Ha Noi’s leaders, Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung explained a number of issues under his charge and gave results of administrative reform.
Speaking at the meeting, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong acknowledged the voters’ concerns and thanked them for expressing their viewpoints and frank,constructive comments on a wide range of issues.
Regarding to the fight against corruption and wastefulness, the Party chief said that it was a prolonged and difficult battle that required trust and determination.
In addition, he noted that more efforts should be made by the whole political system and more amendments should be made to existing anti-corruption policies.
He also emphasized that the battle against corruption and wastefulness must be implemented in sync with resolutions of apparatus reform, salary reform and social insurance.
