Approving project “Cooperation in communications for HIV/AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention and fighting to 2020” (15:53 10/01/2018)
The project aims to increase quality and effectiveness of communications on HIV/AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention on television, radio, newspaper, online newspaper as well as other publications. It is expected to increase people’s awareness and sense of responsibility, and call for their participation of sectors, agencies at all levels and all people.
It has following targets:
- Improve quality and effectiveness of the information; increase the reform and diversify the communications activities and products, and increase the number of new communications products by 10 to 15% and new communications products in ethnic minority languages in key areas by 20%;
- Increase information on radios, newspapers and other publications of the communications agencies over 15% agains the last year;
- Increase the number of people accessing information of HIV/AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention and fighting by 20% against 2017;
- Provide training to all reporters, editors in charge of HIV/AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention and fighting, thus increasing their capacity of HIV/AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention and fighting.
The project focuses on promoting capacity and cooperation, building plan to increase information work, improving content and diversifying communications to fulfill targets, and assigning staff to conduct communications works. It also ensures resources to improve quality and communications products, and diversify communications products which use information technology and digital technology, especially online communications through competitions, supporting services via telephone, social network and portals.
