Ha Noi leader receives newly-appointed Mongolian Ambassador (16:04 06/10/2017)


HNP – Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung on October 4 hosted a reception for Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Viet Nam Dash Bilegdorj on the occasion of his new appointment.

At the reception, the Mongolian Ambassador expressed his pleasure to receive the mission in Viet Nam, the country has good traditional friendship with Mongolia, especially after the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's visit to Mongolia in July 2016, and the visit of the Mongolian Foreign Minister to Viet Nam recently.

He affirmed that the strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Mongolia in general and Ha Noi and Ulan Bator in particular has been continuing to grow and has a bright future.

The Mongolian diplomat voiced his hope that, under the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Ulan Bator and Ha Noi, the two sides will continue to expand cultural exchanges, people-to-people enhance and strengthen extensive cooperation’s.

The Ambassador proposed to organize the Ha Noi Cultural Days program in Ulan Bator. He expressed his hope that Ha Noi authority will send delegations of Ha Noi officials and businesses to exchange opportunities for cooperation.

For his part, Chairman Chung congratulated newly appointed Ambassador, adding that, Ha Noi authority will cooperate tightly with the Mongolian Embassy to strengthen regular exchanges of delegation, cultural exchanges, and strengthening cooperation between the two capital cities.

Ha Noi and Ulan Bator have developed cooperation in many fields, especially tourism, trade and services. Ha Noi Chairman wished that Mr. Dash Bilegdorj, on his current position, will become a bridge to promote the cooperation between the two capitals as well as Mongolia and Viet Nam.

He suggested Mongolia create favorable conditions for visa granting to Ha Noi citizens in particular, Vietnamese people in general to promote labor exchanges as well as bilateral tourism cooperation.

In reply, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Viet Nam Dash Bilegdorj stressed that he will do his utmost to promote cultural exchanges, cooperation, contributing to improving bilateral trade turnover.
