Ha Noi People’s Council opens second session (16:32 03/08/2016)


HNP - The 15th municipal People’s Council of the 2016-2021 tenure opened second session on August 1.


At the second session of the 15th municipal People’s Council.


The meeting was opened in the presence of National Assembly Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty, municipal Party Committee Secretary and Head of National Assembly Deputies of Ha Noi Hoang Trung Hai, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung, People’s Council Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc and Party Committee Vice Secretary Dao Duc Toan.

According to Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, the People’s Council aims to review the implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, security and national defense in the first half of 2016, decide key tasks in the next months and perform the missions under its authority.

Furthermore, the session focuses on socio-economic development plan of Ha Noi in five years (from 2016 to 2020), tuition rates of public educational facilities in the national education system from the 2016-2017 to the 2020-2021 school year, the city's electric power development planning in the period of 2016 to 2025, decentralization of state management in particular fields of infrastructure as well as  society and economy, support for judicial assessors and their assistants, expenses for the People’s Councils at all level in the 2016-2021 tenure, regulations of the municipal People’s Council in the 2016-2021 tenure, adjustment of name and length of some streets.

Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc asked the People’s Council delegates to review the targets thoroughly, hence giving proper goals and measures in conformity with conditions of Ha Noi.
