Speaking at the meeting, 13 voters of Hoang Mai district voiced their concerns over burning issues in the area.
Voters of Dinh Cong ward appreciated the local governments’ effort to conduct popularization and encourage people to support site clearance for project on new road. They asked the district to mobilize resources to speed up the progress, and expand Dinh Cong bridge, maintain Dinh Cong street, Nguyen Canh Di street and 192 alley on Le Trong Tan street.
Voters of Linh Nam ward pointed out the shortcomings in issuance of land use right certificate, issuance of license for building houses on the riverbank. They also requested the city to specify which area is the flooding drainage corridor, which area is allowed for residence, building or renovation of houses.
Furthermore, there were proposals on reviewing projects and allocating land for kindergarten in Yen So ward, amending agricultural land price in Hoang Liet ward. Voters of Tran Phu ward suggested that the district and ward should have policy to punish the ones who throw garbage improperly, as well as measures to handle pollution in the To Lich river and solid waste in land clearance sites.
Several voters asked the city to improve the quality of education, especially preschool education, and conduct further popularization to put the two Codes of Conduct into practice.
