Taking place from October 9-13, 2017, the “Ha Noi in me” exhibition display 80 pictures featuring activities of socio – economic development, Hanoians’ lifestyle and the beauty of Ha Noi’s streets. All works are taken and preserved by 37 photographers during their working time. The pictures not only reflect photographers’ pride about Ha Noi – a hero capital – a city for peace but also impress their love for Ha Noi for a long time.
Being divided into 4 main parts, including: landscape, culture, lifestyle and craft village, the exhibition is a chance for visitors to enjoy one Ha Noi with cultural heritages of the one thousand-year city (“Village Festival” of Tran Quang Hung, “Rice cooking contest” of Van Phuc, “Succession” of Hoang Nhu Thinh, “Festival in the Citadel” of Hong Hanh, etc.,); or another Ha Noi - where tradition and integration meet (“Carnival on Hoan Kiem Lake” of Van Phuc, “Cultural exchange” of Duy Linh, etc.).

Especially, the exhibition also showcases colorful aspects of Hanoians’ lifestyle from suburban areas, such as: “Small valleys in craft village” of Tran Quang Hung, “To he (Toy figurine) maker in Xuan La” of Nguyen anh Tuan, “Harvest season” of Nguyen Hong Duoc, “Yellow mattress” of Thai Ngoc Linh, etc, to Ha Noi’s center, such as “Walking near Hoan Kiem Lake” of Van Phuc, etc.
Speaking at the exhibition, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Dao Duc Toan highly appreciated works displayed in the exhibition, contributing to preserving, promoting and praising the creativity about Ha Noi. The city’s leader also expressed his thanks to elderly photographers who have special love for Ha Noi. He also expected that the following exhibitions will attract international photographers.

Known as an annual event, “Ha Noi in me” exhibition is organized by the Economic & Urban Newspaper in collaboration with Ha Noi Elderly Photographers Club. After 11 previous events in 11 years, “Ha Noi in me” has become a meeting place for art and Ha Noi lovers in every October. The exhibition will mark an impression in the public with the sincere love for Ha Noi.
