Ha Noi to boost supervision and social feedback to protect people’s legitimate rights and interests (06/12/2017)
HNP – In the framework of the 5th session of the Municipal People’s Council, Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Ha Noi chapter Vu Hong Khanh gave a report on the participation in building administration in 2017, missions in 2018 and recommendations to the People’s Council and the People’s Committee.

According to Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Ha Noi chapter Vu Hong Khanh, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have given comments to draft laws, legal documents related to people’s legitimate rights and interests; cooperated with the delegation of National Assembly deputies, the People’s Council and relevant sectors to organize meetings with the deputies before and after the sessions; sum up voters’ recommendations and aspirations relating to guidelines, policies of the Party and laws of the State and then give a report to the National Assembly, People’s Councils at all levels and functional agencies for settlement.
In terms of supervision, the Ha Noi Fatherland Front has chaired and cooperated with scientists, managers to monitor science and technology, Law on Science and Technology in departments, sectors and People’s Committees at district level in accordance with the Resolution of the 11th Party Central Committee’s 6th plenum; supervise the state management in localities, especially burning issues on food safety assurance; deal with complaints and denunciations; maintain urban and rural order.
In addition, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Ha Noi chapter has cooperated with the delegation of NA deputies, the People’s Committee to supervise the results of granting certificates of land use right; the implementation of targets, missions and measures for socio-economic development in 2017; performance of policies on ensuring working conditions of workers in industrial parks, processing zones; management and use of resettlement apartment buildings; etc.
Besides, the chapter has well implemented receptions for local residents; jointly deal with complaints, denunciations. Particularly, the chapter received 304 letters; meanwhile, Fatherland Front Committees in localities received 9,275 ones and sent them to competent authorities as stipulated by law.
In terms of social feedback, in 2017, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s chapter of Ha Noi has given social feedback for five issues. In addition, Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns organized 42 conferences on social feedback with a focus on implementing political missions, socio-economic targets and ensuring security, national defense in localities.
In 2017, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have coordinated with authorized agencies to organize 420 talks between leaders of Party Committees, authorities and people.
Chairman Vu Hong Khanh also noted that in 2017, the capital’s economy has remained it high growth. Besides, the capital city has paid attention to implementing programs, projects on building new-style rural areas, improving business and investment environment, etc.
Furthermore, Ha Noi has made more efforts to ensure traffic for political events. However, traffic situation has been complicated, so the Chairman asked the capital city to focus on drastic solutions to develop traffic network as planned; collecting waste in rural areas; researching and outlining more effective and sustainable measures for traffic order, civilization. He also suggested that the People’s Council and the People’s Committee should further enhance supervision of state agencies in the area.
