City to celebrate 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day (16/07/2017)
HNP - The Municipal People’s Committee has recently issued Plan 167/KH-UBND on celebrating the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).
According to the plan, leaders and former leaders of the Party and the State, leaders of the Viet Nam Central Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, ministries and unions of the Central Government and of Ha Noi will pay tribute to the martyrs at the Memorial of Heroic Martyrs at 7.30AM on July 27.
A ceremony to mark Vietnamese Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day will take place at 9.30AM on July 27 at the National Convention Center. Participants are leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Nam, commissioners of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, representatives from agencies, ministries, sectors and unions, members of national organizing board for celebration of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day, representatives from Dien Bien, Quang Tri and Ho Chi Minh City, and representatives of people nationwide who have special contribution to the country.
Senior officials of Ha Noi will be present at the meeting, including leaders and former leaders of the city, leaders of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, departments and unions, leaders of subordinate Party units, Secretaries of Party units of the universities and colleges, Secretaries and Chairpeople of People’s Councils, People’s Committees, Fatherland Front Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns, representatives of the senior revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of Labor, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Veterans’ Association, Former Young Volunteers’ Association, intellectuals, religions, students, people from all walks of life and armed forces.
The celebration will be broadcast live on VTV1 (Viet Nam Television).
This is the opportunity for officers, Party members, soldiers and people, especially the youth, to honor and express deep gratitude towards the heroes, invalids, martyrs and people having special contribution to the revolution, increase people’s awareness and implementation of preferential treatment policy for the contributors.
