This year, Hanoi is reported the highest number of contestants with more than 74,000 students. It is expected that 125 exam venues with be established, and a total of over 5,000 officials, teachers and staffs will be mobilized to serve the exam.
At the meeting, departments, agencies, district/township People’s Committees and universities expressed their determination to organize the 2019 exam safely and fairly.
They also agreed with Hanoi’s draft plan on preparations for the exam.
Making conclusion at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy urged departments, sectors, district/township People’s Committee, basing on the city’s general plan, to make plans on organizing the exam. The task will be completed on May 25, 2019.
Meanwhile, the Department of Education and Training is assigned to work out plans on knowledge review and support for students with weak academic performance, and strengthen the dissemination of new changes of this year’s exam procedure in order to create the consensus among the society, students and their parents.
The city leader also requested universities joining in the organization of the exam to enrich knowledge, skills and professional ethics for officers and lecturers on duties.
The national high school graduation examination 2019 is scheduled to take place from June 25-27, 2019.
