At the reception, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Dapkiunas expressed his thanks to Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung for the warm welcome.
He highlighted the Viet Nam – Belarus traditional relation which will help the two sides to boot stronger cooperation in economy and trade in the coming time.
He said that Ha Noi and Minsk city have had significant contributions to the development of the Viet Nam and Belarus, and adding that the two cities have great potential to foster the cooperation in multiple areas.
Deputy Minister Andrei Dapkiunas considered transport as an important issue in the cooperation of the two sides. Particularly, Belarus supplied 32 buses to Ha Noi, a solid foundation for the cooperation between Ha Noi and Belarusian auto makers.
Basing on a joint declaration on the comprehensive and extensive development of the partnership between Vietnam and Belarus signed in June 2018, the Belarusian Deputy Minister wished that the two cities will enhance the coordination in transport, urban railway system, underground works and other fields while inviting Ha Noi leader to visit Minsk to have more discussion about cooperative programs.
In reply, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’ Committee Nguyen The Hung highly appreciated the relationship between Viet Nam and Belarus as well as Ha Noi and Minsk.
Regarding public transportation services, the Vice Chairman said that Ha Noi put into use 32 buses produced by the Belarusian Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) in 2017,
He wanted Belarus to continue supporting Ha Noi in developing the public transportation system.
