Head of the Ha Noi Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Quang Huy was present.
According to a report of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs, in the first half of 2018, Commissions for Internal Affairs followed direction, guidance of the Central and gained remarkable achievements, especially in the work of research and supervision.
Delivering a speech at the teleconference, Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Ha Noi Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, highlighted four results in the first half of the years. Particularly, as the centre of politics and national administration, Ha Noi has maintained political security, social order and safety; ensure peaceful environment.
The city has focused on preventing and fighting conspiracies and sabotage activities by the hostile forces, witnessed a decrease in the number of crimes, especial serious cases compared to the same period last year.
He emphasized the leadership and direction of the Municipal Party Committee, particularly the Secretary and the Party Standing Commission for important security issues.
Notably, the Municipal Party Committee issued Resolution 15 on building Party’s strong organizations, consolidating poor units, Directive 15 on strengthening the Party’s leadership in receiving citizens and settling complaints, denunciations.
In addition, the Commission for Internal Affairs established three working delegations with the participation of sectors of inspection, construction, natural resources and environment, investment and planning, architecture and planning, etc. to work with 12 districts, suburban districts so as to deal with problems.
Regarding proposals to the Central’s agencies, comrade Nguyen Quang Huy recommended the Government, the Prime Minister to complete regulations on judicial expertise, especially in finance, banking, and construction to timely serve the adjudication of serious corruption cases; and supplement law on protecting corruption whistleblower.
He also suggested that the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs should enhance specialized skill training and prevention and control of corruption.
Making conclusion at the conference, Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs asked, in the remaining months, Commissions for Internal Affairs of provinces, cities to cooperate with Party Standing Committees to strictly carry out Directive 46 on enhancing the Party’s leadership in ensuring security and order.
He also noted that Commissions for Internal Affairs of provinces, cities should well act as advisors in establishing inspection teams to monitor sensitive areas, especially fields with high risk of corruption, negative behavior, etc.
