Signing a Joint Resolution on cooperation mechanism between the Government and the HCYU for the 2017-2022 period (14:48 15/12/2017)
Accordingly, in the 2017-2022 period, the Government and the HCYU Central Committee will jointly strengthen communication, education for young generations; gather youths; encourage the youths to implement targets, strategies of the socio-economic and national protection; support youths’ scientific studying and research, vocational consultancy, job creation, startups; improve physical training and spiritual life.
In addition, the two bodies will continue to set up laws, policies; boost inspection, supervision, social feedback in making and carrying out policies for youths; take care of, protect and education teenagers and perform child law.
The joint resolution aims to express the Government’s great trust in the Youth Union; create favorable conditions to bring into full play the youth, volunteer and creativity to build and protect the country.
Over the past five years, the two bodies have jointly implemented the scheme on building 270 bridges in rural areas of 20 provinces; deployed 12 out of 15 projects on supporting youths starting their businesses in border areas and special difficult communes in 12 provinces; inaugurated and put 85 bridges and 85 models “Vegetable garden for children” into operation.
So far, the National Fund for Employment has provided loans worth over VND 72 billion; deployed 1,420 projects in 61 provinces; created jobs for 3,300 laborers.
Besides, Youth Unions at all levels have built 14,000 good economic development models, 356 youth cooperatives and nearly 1,200 youth cooperative groups for economic development.
