Bringing “Omotenashi” culture into customer services (14:26 21/10/2017)

HNP – The Ha Noi Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the People’s Committee of Ha Dong District organized a conference on June 28, introducing “Omotenashi” culture in Japan’s customer services. The event drew the participation of over 150 enterprises in the district.

At the conference, Japanese experts talked about art, philosophy, business style expressing the quality of their people. Those are really necessary and useful experiences for enterprises, production and trade households in craft villages in the capital city in general and Ha Dong District in particular.

According to experts, the popularization of “Omotenashi” will attract more international visitors to Viet Nam, contributing to developing the tourism sector in particular and Viet Nam’s economy in general.


“Omotenashi” is a unique culture in the service sector of Japan, in which, service providers are always enthusiastic to bring the best experiences to customers. The “Omotenashi” culture is the spirit of customer service and hospitality in many fields of tourism, restaurant, hotel, airline, etc.
