Ha Noi High-tech and Digestive Centre reviews one year of operation (16:25 11/12/2017)


HNP – The Ha Noi Department of Health organized a conference on December 9, reviewing the operation of the High-tech and Digestive Centre after one year of putting into use.

The event saw the attendance of  Nguyen Quoc Trieu, Head of the Central Committee on Health Care for Senior Governmental Officials; Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health. For Ha Noi, there were Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Chung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee; Phung Thi Hong Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council; Ngo Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee.

 

Over the past year, the High-tech and Digestive Centre has gradually enhanced health checkups and treatment; created favorable conditions for local people to access to good health services. With the guideline of Vietnamese and foreign experts, the centre’s staffs have improved their knowledge and skills to access and put advanced medical techniques into operation effectively. After all, over 20,000 turns of patients are being treated in the centre.

In addition, the Centre has provided health care packages. Patients will be given not only good health services but also comprehensive nutritional and physical care. The packages have satisfied local people.

 

Especially, the early cancel screening program that has been implemented in the centre is specialized health model in association with disease prevention. So far, 107,436 people have been tested in the centre.

Evaluating the centre’s results, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien affirmed that with quick and effective development, the centre has become a high-quality address for patients in the capital city.

 

Addressing the event, Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung praised the gained achievements of the centre. He also expressed his wish that leaders of the Ministry of Health will pay special attention to widely putting advanced techniques into operation to serve local people.

The Chairman highly appreciated the health care package. He also asked the Health Department to early give a report on the above model to the Municipal People’s Committee for replication.

 

On the occasion, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung hoped that Prof. Leroy and others would give assistance on specialized skills, training and technology transfer to the Hi-tech and Digestive Centre in particular and Ha Noi’s health sector in general.
