This year, Ha Noi will perform firework displays in districts and suburban districts across the capital city. Regarding this matter, specific tasks have been assigned to units by the Municipal People’s Committee. Similarly, the culture and sports sector will prepare art performances at the sites.
A series of art performances to welcome the lunar New Year festival 2018 will take place from 10.00 P.M on February 15, 2018 (Lunar New Year’s Eve) at the statute of King Ly Thai To, August Revolution Square - Ha Noi Opera House, My Dinh National Stadium, the central of Ha Dong District and Son Tay Town.
Especially, a festival of sound and lighting will also be held at the same time at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Headquarter of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Thong Nhat Park and My Dinh National Stadium.
Besides, Ha Noi will organize a photo exhibition from February 1-20, 2018 to welcome the Lunar New Year Festival and mark the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam at 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Furthermore, an array of cultural and art performances will be organized in districts, suburban district, industrial parks, universities, etc to serve people.
A boat racing on West Lake is schedule to be held by the Department of Culture and Sports on February 24-25, 2018 and another will be organized on March 6 in Hoang Mai District.
